What can I do to help? That’s how I start every day. Our field guys and gals are in remote locations months on end – away from coworkers and their families. They can end up feeling like they’re on an island. But the reality is, they’re one of the most important parts of our organization
When I recognized the support the field YAKs needed, I took action. I talk to each person in the field on a regular basis to understand challenges, successes, where we can improve and just so they know we are there for them. Because at the end of the day, our most important asset is our people.

The people at YAK are the main reason I love working here. There are some really smart and experienced people at YAK MAT. That’s why, when I get a project, I list the hurdles I am facing, come up with possible solutions, and then bounce those ideas off a few others for their opinion.

WE MANAGE ALL THE MOVING PARTS.
I manage the day to day operations of YAK MAT. This consists of conference calls, one after another, communicating daily with every salesman, and making sure our logistics is aligned with our customer’s needs.
With the largest inventory of hardwood access mats and more mat yards than anyone else, we keep mats moving from mat yards to project sites all over the country. But, none of this would be possible without the amazing group of people at YAK.
They work tirelessly to make sure we do what we say we are going to do and understand that our services can make or break the success of a project. We value our customers and go out of our way to prove it.
